Gave the game another shot today. I got a little further than last time (I think, by getting the invalid note) but the slowdown got too much and it was taking too long to navigate between screens. I think it's a bug?
I was confused at first but once I found the 'switches' it all started to make sense. I managed to turn pink, light up the... thing... and have only found four text files, how many have I missed, I wonder?
Also I cannot figure out how to get out of the blue static room, so I have to close the game each time. Boo. Looking forward to new content.

All I'll say is, you are indeed supposed to close the program to get out of that "Static Room"
